3rd Month in LA
by Administrator on Feb.25, 2010, under General
Yesterday marked my third month in LA, and I have enjoyed it thus far. I also got my first check yesterday for my work on the set of Community from earlier this month. Can’t wait to see the check for my work from Friday and Monday on the set.
Monday was the biggest OMFG! moment of my life thus far. I went to get a bite to eat from catering when standing at the coffee machine was the one and the only, Chevy Chase. Awestruck and nervous as hell, I swallowed hard, walked up to him and said “Excuse me, Mr. Chase.” He turned and shot me a look. Fearing that if I didn’t make it quick, I would have an arm or leg fed to me, I continued. “Hope this isn’t out of line, but just wanted to tell you that I am a huge fan of your work and it is an honor to be on set with you.” Fearing that I would be meeting his fist, he graciously extended his hand and simply said “thank you very much for that.” He smiled, shook my hand and walked away. It was a great feeling getting to meet one of my childhood heroes, a man of great class and quite dignity.
To mark my third month in LA, today I made a nice little feast of Matzo ball soup, brisket and falafel and had a mini Two and a Half Men marathon. It’s a shame that Charlie Sheen may heading to rehab and production may be put on hold.
My OMG! Moment

I get to the stage, open the door and walk in. Turning, I almost run right into one of my childhood heroes, Chevy Chase. It was awesome seeing him, didn’t say anything (afterall, didn’t want fed my limbs) but had loads of fun. On the set of Community last afternoon/night/early this morning (13 hours of fun), I got inspiration for a script. Let’s call it Fan Fiction.
Will Be on Community Again

I will be on the set of Community again this Friday afternoon and quite possibly on Monday as well. I am begining to enjoy being on different sets and watching actors/actresses, directors, etc., hone their crafts.
I Will be on the Set of Trueblood!
by Administrator on Feb.16, 2010, under General
I will be on the set of True Blood on Tuesday morning as a bar patron. Funny how I didn’t move to LA to be an actor, yet this is my second gig. I hope they use the takes I will be in.
Had a Blast on Community
by Administrator on Feb.10, 2010, under General
I had a blast on the set of Community, as a background student along with my best gal Sam, a fellow Springfieldian. Got to see one of my childhood heroes, Chevy Chase, hone his craft, unfortunately was unable to meet him. Apparently, Chevy has a policy that if you speak 2 him w/o permission, he rips off your arms & legs & feeds them 2 u. Yikes!
Lot’s of good food! Can’t wait to do it again, soon.
I Will Be on the Set of Community!

I will be a student on Community on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. This is my first acting gig and am really excited, since I’ve never dreamed of doing acting (well, I guess to be a politician you have to be a good actor as well, so this will be training of sorts). Really hope they use the takes I will be in.
Community is the hit NBC comedy about students at a community college in Denver, Colorado.

A great week has come to an end. I Registered with Central Casting this past Wednesday, am currently revising the final draft of my book, will be visiting the Lake Shrine on Sunday for some revitalization and on Monday will be ready to continue the good fight. Still a number of projects that I am working on, but having fun.

Palmer Blevins & Bleidd Publishing

Is it me, or did 2009 seem to just seem to fly right by? As many know, I am currently in Los Angeles, CA where I am resuming my graduate studies and just having a blast relaxing. My permanent residence is still Springfield, IL., and who knows, I may be back there sooner or later.
After some consultation with my best friend and personal advisor, who berated me to no end about how I let this site go over the past two years, we’ve put together a plan for growth not only on this site but also for some side ventures of mine…so we are excited about what 2010 will bring. Now that I have a vision for this site, I promise everyone will find at least something that they like. As always, I welcome feedback and constructive criticism.
